Cieľom združenia je zvyšovať povedomie o nových bezpečnostných hrozbách a prinášať návrhy riešení založené na dátach, otvorených zdrojoch a príkladoch dobrej praxe. združenie svoje poslanie realizuje najmä pomocou nasledovných druhov aktivít: a) výskum, zber a spracovanie verejne dostupných údajov a informácií dotýkajúcich sa bezpečnostných hrozieb, b) analytické, advokačné, vzdelávacie aktivity zamerané na rôzne cieľové skupiny, ktoré napomáhajú naplniť ciele organizácie, c) publikovanie analýz, správ a štúdií o nových bezpečnostných hrozbách, d) organizovanie konferencií a seminárov k problematike nových bezpečnostných hrozieb, e) poskytovanie poradenstva v oblasti nových bezpečnostných hrozieb, f) komunikačné aktivity a kampane zamerané na predchádzanie negatívnym následkom bezpečnostných hrozieb, g) spolupráca s inými organizáciami v rámci identifikácie príkladov dobrej praxe v zahraničí a návrhy na ich implementáciu na slovensku.
